COLUMBIA, Mo. – Despite 17 turnovers, Missouri (9-16, 2-10) snapped a nine-game losing streak by defeating Tennessee 75-64 Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers were led by senior Ryan Rosburg – who came off a career-best performance vs. Vanderbilt on Tuesday – with 21 points (8/9 FG, 5/7 FT) and freshman Kevin Puryear with 17 points (6/8 FG, 2/3 3FG). The two forwards combined to shoot 14 of 17 from the field (82.4%).
Kevin Punter Jr led Tennessee (12-13, 5-7) with 21 points (5/13 FG, 2/8 3FG, 9/13 FT) and three assists.
Senior Devon Baulkman followed a 14-point performance against Auburn on Tuesday night with 17 points against the Tigers. Baulkman connected on four three-pointers in both contests.
