After two seasons of failing to meet expectations on the defensive line, Jonathan Kongbo might be changing positions.

The gym didn’t provide much clarification, just some gentle trolling.
Lol those that can’t do tweet, don’t worry Jonathon is committed to the process and will continue to perfect his craft… so just pay your admission and enjoy the show next season #GoVols

Kongbo was recruited to Tennessee as the best defensive end in the junior college class of 2016, and many considered him the best junior college prospect regardless of position. He spent a year at defensive tackle, was overshadowed by the final year from Derek Barnett and Corey Vereen and then failed again to meet those high expectations in 2017.
After a depleted linebacking core finished out this season, would Kongbo moving positions help more or hurt? Is this a product of the new coaching staff?
Either way, Kongbo moves pretty well in that video. But, most of Tennessee’s athletes look pretty good in workout videos. I suppose we shall wait for a confirmation.
